Roger Webster and the star Courtois Trombone ensemble to feature in free concert at Ronnie's Club in Leeds.

The first of Band Supplies ‘hot gigs’ in their state of the art new venue, Ronnie’s Club, will showcase Roger Webster and the inaugural appearance of the fabulous Courtois Trombones on June 15th.

Ensemble

The ensemble comprises world class performers Mark Templeton (London Philharmonic Orchestra), Davur Juul Magnussen (Royal Scottish National Orchestra), John Barber (Foden’s Band) and Richard Ashmore (The Royal Ulster Orchestra).

Free

The free event is supported by Besson and Courtois, with Dave Beal, Sales Executive of the Band Supplies (Leeds) branch telling 4BR:

"The event has already been profiled in the April edition of Brass Band World and we hope that this is the first in a long line of regular concerts showcasing the highest calibre of instrumental talent."

Inspire and enthuse

He added: "We are sure that the event on Saturday June 15th, will inspire, enthuse and bring people of all ages together in this fabulous new venue, which also has a bar for socialising!"

Where and when

Ronnie’s Club can be found at AQL Salem Church, Hunslet Road, Leeds (LS10 1JW).

Doors will open at 3.30pm for a prompt 4.00pm start.

How to get there

If you experience a problem locating Salem Church on your sat nav by postcode, the venue recommends using the adjacent Dock Street, Leeds, LS10 1LX.

Salem Church is situated 100 yards from the Adelphi pub on the corner of Hunslet Road and Dock Street, and Band Supplies says you can’t miss it—it’s large!
